Hi N,
Hope you are well. Having trouble getting things together! I spent an hour dragging around my broken mattock the garden in the sun which I hope will help. I’ve sanded and prepared many pieces of wood but the piece is going somewhere else.

Hi Julian, sounds like you’re in an interesting stage of the project! Perhaps the piece needs to go in that ‘somewhere else’ direction? I hope you’re well, too. PS Am going to do some visual explorations today.

well I’m sure there is a story in that series of photos – my mind is immediately thinking torture or murder – hahahaha – but that’s just me!

Hi Gabe, yes, this post is a little vague and mysterious, isn’t it. But there is a purpose and all will be revealed in due course – oh, I’m such a tease! As to ‘torture’ and ‘murder’, I’m sure Julian Laffan will be intrigued to hear of this…

Don’t look too closely, Mia. You might see what’s behind the smoke and mirrors.
